I would like to make the formal announcement of the opening of my business. Team Vision Racing was officially founded on December 1, 2005. I am registered with the state of Illinois (5527-0832) for tax purposes and registered with McHenry county in Illinois as an official business as of December 29, 2005.
I waited until I had some suppliers set up and had my webstore started to make this announcement. The webstore can be found at
www.ryne.com/storefront. I don't have all of the suppliers or parts that I can get on the site and I may never but I am trying to get as many as possible on there for your buying pleasure. I will not be specializing in any one make or model, but will stick to the "import and sport compact" scenes for the most part.
If there is anything that you need that you cannot find one my site or if you have troubles with my site or store please email me at
my store's email address and let me know ASAP. I will get back to you with a price or a notification of fixing as soon as I get or make it.
Please understand that I will not always, and maybe rarely for now, be able to compete strictly on pricing with the established JBO companies, but I will try my best. One of my big things is going to be sending you the cheapest place if I know I can't beat a place. For example: I had a customer that wanted to buy a B&M Short Shifter. Knowing I couldn't beat Karo on the price I sent him there. This is the kind of customer service we need these days and I hope I can join the ranks of the elite JBO businesses. Please give me a chance and let me try to help you out.
Thank you for reading and I look forward to doing lots of business with the JBO in the future.
PS for the Mods: This post was approved by Dave ahead of time. I waited till I was premium to make it like I discussed with him. Thank you for leaving it be.
I used to race cars, now I race myself.

Also let me add that I'm one of the first cars that will be sponsored by Hypsy's new company. I plan to represent his company at many shows this year to the fullest...hopefully big shows.
Good luck Ryne with everything.

Hypsy, good luck bro! I know that the respect you've earned here on the Org will definitely help your business grow. You may not know this but I purchased my Stewart Warner gauges because of your suggestions. I've been having some boost troubles as of late and if it turns out that my boost gauge is malfunctioning, rest assured that I'll be going through you for a new gauge.
Blown.
Yes Adam is the first, and probably only car I will be sponsoring this year. I chose him for many reasons...including....
1) He always represents himself and the companies he represents in a very proper manner.
2) He always tries to help others out. Hence why he's the King of the Newbs.
3) I've met him and person and like his demenor.
4) He has set goals for his car that are very achievable.
5) He doesn't limit his choice of parts to the normal choices.
6) The most important reason...He was the first to ask.
There is a car club that has requested sponsorship from me as well, and I will probably grant it to them, but please...if you are just getting into the scene and have a bone stock 2.2L OHV, don't email me asking for sponsorship. Thanks.

Thanks I appreciate it.
I know I didn't talk much in person but that's because I'm very shy when I meet people for the first time...it takes me a while to get used to people and open up. Overall though, I'm a good guy and responsible and hope to represent you well at car shows. Like said, I'm going out into shows hardcore this year after the body work and interior work...so send me pamphlets and cards..whatever so I can hand them out.

How odd another j company is starting up in Illinois with the word Vision in it's name (different spelling though). Let's just hope yours does not have the same fate as the last one....
Regardless, we'll be in touch soon. I'll drop you an email regarding some stuff.

I have been informed numerous times in the last month about the name's past. Let me be clear though. I have nothing to do with the previous Vizzion.
Team Vision was a car club I started about 3 or 4 years ago because I didn't want to join Team GMCI after reading their rules, and because all the other teams then just sucked. Too much drama, not enough fun. So me and a friend (phkz24 from here) formed our own car club. We got a few friends to join us (friends first...a big thing when making a team/club) and decided we needed a name. Most of you remember my old 1994 Pontiac Sunbird. Many of you know the dreams I had for it. Well one of the members suggested Vision as a name because we all had visions of what we wanted our cars to be. From then on we went around being called Team Vision Car Club.
Towards the end of 2005 all of us realized we had our own goals and our own time limitations that were pulling us apart. So before we had any issues and drama we decided to end the team as friends, so nothing would stand in the way of our friendships.
I decided near the end of 2005 that I wanted to try and run the 2006 NHRA Sport Compact circuit and that I would need a way of funding this venture. Since there was no more Team Vision Car Club I went to the county and registered Team Vision Racing. TVR was born.
.......and thats how we get to where we are today. In VERY SHORT story form.

Overall, I like the site layout. However, if you don't mind a critique...
If at all possible, it would be a good idea to take the "thumbnails" on the front page and make them into actual thumbnails. This will solve 2 possible issues:
- Ease up on your bandwidth usage per month.
- Make the page easier to load for us folks still on dial-up, thereby not possibly alienating a customer base, or deterring them from your site due to the long load time.
For example, I'm now on 7 minutes at the time of this post, and the page has just now completed loading all the images on 56k.
The PortFueler "thumb" has the following props:
The same image, resized as a thumbnail to 100x80 is a mere 4.1k, 1.12% of the original image, which will make for a quicker load time. Even those folks on high-speed will notice the difference.
Best of luck.
Ryan, congrats, and let us know iff you need any help.
