im all about going to the bash this year. i say we have it in a corn field in kansas, plenty of room.

on a serious note, i wouldnt want it too close to my house (jersey, md, philly) it would take away the fun of driving their with a huge group of cars. i wouldnt mind driving out to the midwest some where

well unfortunately unless everyone wants to pull together and make a bash there will not be one next yr. possibly 07 but not for 06, and that info came straight from the guy that organizes the bash,

and also i heard lordstown track sucks.....

^^^^^^^ Yeah Tim did say he wasn't having a bash next year and i'm hoping it was just in the heat of the moment that he was frustrated with how things ended. If we didn't have the idiots that went and stole their banners then i'm sure that Tim would love to organize another bash for us all. I for one, was not at the bash last year, i would of loved to of gone, just didn't happen. Getting something together like this isn't an easy or cheap thing to do, and i'm glad to see someone like Tim is out in this world to make us jbodiers happy and get together once a year. It's a fun time i'm sure, i just want to find that out for myself. And from the people i have talked to, it does seem like there were more J's on the eastern side that came than the J's that were at Indy. Just hang in there, and hopefully someone will step up whether it be Tim again, or someone else.

i think it should be down south in texas we have tracks stuff to do and i probably could give alot of people discounts on hotel rooms but if not how about kansas its in the middle of every thing and it would be fair for every one

You won't be disapointed.

We had over 220+ J-bodies this year back in June.

This will be the 8th JCO J-body bash and every year it gets better.

Keep an eye on this site in the future for updates:

the bash is biased against the west coast. >< (if not then maybe I'm mistaken)

ah well. no use complaining. can't do any fun things on the west coast car wise (especially in CA)

I go to both the US and Canadian Bashes every year. Both are a blast. This past year, though, the Canadian Bash was a bit better. No knock against Tim, he didn't control the number or cars that showed. With a better turnout, the US Bash would have rocked. If there isn't a Bash in 06, maybe I can get GM to hold something at the Tech Center or maybe at the Proving Grounds. Proving grounds would be a stretch... Then again, with the Canadian Bash under 2 hours away, what would be the point of holding a US gathering here in Detroit?
