Whats the cost of the show if you don't pre reg?
I'm all the way in FL, don't wanna have a 5 month gap of guessing and waiting cuz I probably won't know definites until April / May
Will you be doing another pre-reg like a month or so before the show?

well, it doesn't look like we're going to hit our goal for the track rental unfortunately. I'm also having troubles, I don't get notifications due to the domain expiring from my friend's name, and they won't let me buy it for like 2-3 months. So i have to get the domain transferred so my email starts working again. Sorry guys, I'll let you know when the domain is transferred and the site is back up.

how much we need extra for the track rental?

and i have a website on godaddy if there is a way to take it over, all i would charge is help getting it set up...

total track rental is 2000, i wanted 1500 in advance, 1000 would go to deposit, and we didn't come close to 1500, i'll have to try and get an exact count.

i got a 10 hour trip with a truck, trailer and the car, hopfully i can get the paint done before i come up, and what are the rules for the dragstrip,

General rule of thumb to follow on most any track. Standard NHRA Rules

I will catch up on registrations sometime later today. Since the domain went down for a short period, I didn't get any notifications of registrations, so I will go through the database and see if anyone has been missed, and I will create a new list.

We will not be going through with a track rental due to inability to obtain a rental on the same weekend we've already scheduled the event. I'll just have to keep that in mind for next year, for whoever opts to run it next year. (plans are in place already for this to keep going, but with less involvement on my part) Money isn't the issue here unfortunately.

is there "fun drags" at that track, meaning anybody can come and just have fun? no inspections just get in line stage and go?

No, there will be inspections for the safety of the drivers, spectators and employees

WTF is the obsession with "fun drag"? Are you driving a 74 Pinto with the gas tank bolted to the hood or something?

look...the only way to fail inspection is to run 10s with no safety measures done to the car. lets face facts, if you're running 10s you know the rules

shaved handles are my only concern, and that will be at the discretion of the track. obviously not our call. you wanna know a rule? info is on the site, call em up and ask yourself, i not everyone's secretary
