I have a 92 3.1L Sunbird and I need to change the oil pan gasket. According to the GM & Alldata instructions, I have to raise the engine. Can this be done without raising the engine, does anyone know? There is the sub-frame bracket that looks like it can be removed, so would raising the engine be necessary if I remove the sub-frame bracket?
