Can i Clean rust of Cams?

I just got a cam shaft off a 95 sunfire 2.3 for a secret cam swap, the motor was not siezed, but has been sitting for a while.....when i took it out, i noticed it has some rust on it, its only on one spot, can this be cleaned off with a wire wheel or sandpaper?

No, they'd have to be reground. Even if you got the rust off, there would be a flat spot or a rough area there that would be hell on that lifter.

OMG Please don't put that in your car!! Go find another, so you aren't replacing it again. that would be like rubbing your knuckles across sandpaper... ouch

If there is rust internally, the motor is a done deal, get something else.
