What could cause these codes
Wednesday, March 23, 2005 12:16 PM
i finally got my car fixed up, and everything running smooth, with a couple of exceptions. but i had my car running fine with no cel's or anything, until today. i was going down the high way and i hit about 80 maybe, and suddenly it came on. i went and got the code read and they are:

p1137 manufacturer control fuel air metering
p0108 map/baro circuit high input
p0113 iat sensor 1 circuit high input
p0300 random/multiple cylinder misfire detected
p1621 manufacturer control auxiliary inputs auxiliary outputs

and then i have a pending code which is the same as the first one i put.

any help on any of these codes would be helpful. also, i heard that unplugging the battery doesn't actually clear the code, it just clears the check engine light, is any of this true, because then i could explain for some of the codes, just not all.

Seem like ur ecm is freaking out. Check all ground too...As for unpluging the battery...it won't clear ur code. They will still be in memory. Now for troubleshooting, what was fixed on ur car? Does the car run fine?

i thought that just unplugging it would just clear the light. that means the only codes being tripped for real then are:

p1137 manufacturer control fuel air metering
p1621 manufacturer control auxiliary inputs auxiliary outputs

those should be the only current ones then. i'm pretty sure the auxiliary one doesn't mean anything, but i have no clue what the other one means. any help would be appreciated.

P1621 Serial Data Link Dead Fault
P1137 Oxygen Sensor Lean *codes* bank1 after cat
P0300 Misfire on Multiple Cylinder
P0113 iat sensor circuit high input out of Range Fault
P0108 Manifold Absolute Pressure [MAP] Sensor Circuit High Voltage out of Range Fault

ECM sounds mighty fishy, probably shorted somewhere, crappy.

What did you do to your car to fix it?

it had to do with my map sensor, but it was causing my car to misfire and run like sh*t. and the iat sensor was like that, because i was doing some work on the car, and had to take out the sensor, and i started it up and ran it for a little while like that while i got everything else straight, not to long, just that day, enough to trip the code. but like i posted before, do you guys have any idea what these codes mean:

p1137 manufacturer control fuel air metering
p1621 manufacturer control auxiliary inputs auxiliary outputs

anyone got any suggestions
thanks for the help and just for posting atleast.
