i was changing my oil in a o3 ecotec and i saw a oil leak where the engine and tranny bolt up on the bottom of the engine what is causing this, and could it blow the motor, this car is always in the shop and the dealer wont take til mon or tues so will the car be okay til then any help plz
could be the rear main, could just be the oil pan, could be leaking from higher up, and your not seeing that,, just keep a real good eye on the oil level, when you park the car after driving it, does it make a puddle, or just a couple drops, that will dictate the severity of the leak. and how fast it NEEDS to be fixed...
If you change oil, may be you lost a filter seal or bolt seal.
