catalytic convrter issues

so for the past 6 months my car smells like sh*t. once i shut it off or come to a stop it smells like someone sh*t themselves....and its not me cause i would be proud of that one. anyway i complained to my service manager and she told me to run different fuel in it....so i did this for 6 months and i went back to her and said the catalytic converter needs replaced cause it aint gettin better. she says she wont do anything for me cause i have an rksport intake on it. wtf does that have to do about it?

Does it by anychance smell like Rotten Eggs? If it is, i was told it normal, but i'm not 100% sure on that, a mechanic told me thats the cat working harder. it happens to my Z24 when i floor the gas

your intake shouldnt have that much of in impact on your cat... that smell you smell is sulfur, and yes, i would say you need a new cat.

Ask her why she wont do anything for you, i'd be intrested in her answer.

Hook a computer up to the ODBII port and when the engine is @ idle take a look @ engine load, should be really low (5-0 anything higher than that means there is something wrong and is possible that the cat converter is causing backpressure on the system becuase it is clogged.
