GM must be getting poor!

I took My car to Gm to get it servieced 04 cavi. and was told that I need to see them about a few problems. sure enoough they gave me a plethora of @!#$. first off just so you know I have an the newer full bomex kit urethane and sure enough it's falling apart aside from the sagging back and front the paints chipping(not bomexs fault) the worst part was I got it from andys auto. point is they (GM) now want to charge me for things like 100 for fog light readjustment and they riped out my licens plate light and said it wasn't shineing right and they have to change the brake pads. with a few other stuff and the ommisions they want 450 dollars! they said that I can try and fix the stuff my self so I am going to. Also (and this may sound newbie) but does any one know where I can learn on how to change a brake pad never tried.

15 dollar investment at an auto parts store will buy you a haynes repair manual. If you know how to use a jack and a torque wrench, and an allen wrench... its a piece of cherry pie!.... Drums are a little more pain in the ass... You need a special spring removal tool if you don't want to be dickin around for a good 5-10 min tryin to get them back on.

Haynes rocks, I've had a book for each car that I've owned and its saved me quite a bundle.

How many steps to heaven, Doc?
