I made a temporary patch on my power steering line a month ago, that helped for awhile.
NOW, the problem is worse and it's pissing out somewhere else. I'm gonan give in and take it to the garage becasue I dont have time to fix it.
I'm wondering what lines do I need to replace all the power steering lines?
I called a part shop and he said I need a pressure line and a return line, thats it.
BUT, I called some other guy and he claims theres a cooler line ????
My other question is, can I drive the car down the road to the garage without the powersteering pump and lines functioning. I mean, will I do any harm by driving it without any powersteering fluid, I know it'll be hard to turn, but I think I can manage that part. I use to hear a whining noise when the fluid is low, but when I started her the other day with no power steering fluid, I didn't hear any noise at all. Someone told me it's find to drive....thought I'd double check first.
