i got a question, many times when i start my car, my check oil light comes on and stays on (oil level, not pressure) i know my oil level is good, and if i turn the car off and back on, it goes out, could i have a bad oil leve sensor?

here is what u do. when u change the oil, replace the sensor in the oil pan. i think it is about 30$ for the sensor, i forget.

problem solved. happened to me 3 years ago and i replaced the sensor and i havent seen that light since.

I've been having the same problem as sunfirepower97. I replaced my sensor and it didn't fix it. I also unplugged the sensor and I get the same symptoms. This makes me wonder if this is a computer problem. Anybody have any ideas?
