the comal river goes through the park and you can find places around town to buy or rent a tube for cheap and just jump in. not like going through the outfitters on the Guad where you have to pay almost $20 a person.
the comal is always ice cold since its spring fed but it doesn't matter since it will be hot and you get used to it real quick.

isn't the san marcus the warmest(if i can use that word). i know they are all pretty cold esp the "horse shoe". san marcus is the one that goes by the water park slitterboun, something like that.

san marcos river is actually in san marcos which is about 20 mins away. Comal is the one that goes by Schliterbahn.

any updates? park for sure then? how early do you plan to get there to save seats? i noticed residents get the 1st table for free on the site other than that its $10 a table. if this is the case we need to get a good # on who's going to figure how many tables we need, correct? or is there a group rate for so many tables and a pit?

Yellow, there is group rate of $55 for i think about six table and a pit which has to be paid at time of reservation which i could do if everyone could give me a couple bucks the day of to cover that. They have covered areas too but those are all taken for that weekend. I will go ahead and try to get one of the group areas if there is definitely over ten coming.
Is there a list of people commited to coming so far?
I've also been thinking about getting a little flyer together to hand out..Been seeing quite a few modded j's in town that i've never met. I'm just not any good at making flyers..anyone want to give it a try?

Just reserved area 10 at the park which has 5 tables a small bbq pit and a volleyball area right next to it. I will be bringing another pit as well.

cavichick98-ft hood/k-ln area right? we can meet off I-35 in temple area. temple is just east of yall. not sure whats in the area. might want to check it out and find a good spot for us to meet up. looks like theres a highway or main road called 36 the rolls west to east thru temple?!?! i ve been thru there a few times but dont know any exits off hand. just find a mcdonalds, taco bell, gas station, etc. i will know for sure 100% im going by that monday of the week , (right now its 95% sure)so we can get finally plans down and exchange #'s to call when in the area and all that.
