Hey guys i was just wondering if clevite 77 rod bearings are being made for the ecotec that will have eagle h-beam rods and where they could be purchased at. Thanks guys

Stock Eco Bearings will be more then fine for whatever you wish to do . . . you really dont need anything more . . . but they SHOULD make it call summit racing they can tell you 800-230-3030 24/7

Napas prices are OVER PRICED comapred to Summit Racings prices when it comes to Clevitte 77 bearings.

You can get a huge list of dealers who sell there stuff. Your best bet would either be Jegs or Summit both low prices . . . probably in stock item (more with summit)

I think you can also check online to see if they make it for your application or not. But as said on your eco, your stock ones will be more then fine . . .

Okay thanks Karo for the help. Wish that i would have checked back sooner because yesterday just ordered $500 worth of parts. Oh well just have to probally make another order <br>

Napa was cheaper for the Rod bearings....... Summit was cheaper for the Main bearings......... at least on the 2.4 I saved $10-15 by getting them from Napa online.

When i had Napa do my crank work they just kinda threw em on the bill. I didnt think anything of it. I dont care about the money as long as im getting the best parts for the motor.

Im still waiting on a quote from Swait about a bearing and valve coat. That ought to solve A LOT of problems. <br>

What part number for the 2.4 LD9 main and rod.?

I cannot find them on this catalog

I know they are supposed to make good bearings, but the clevite tensioner I bought for my 2.2 went bad after like 5,000 miles. OEM one is still good after 7,000 miles... Hopefully they make better bearings than timing chain tensioners. <br>

Those are the part numbers for the 2.4L engine.

They dont make anything fo rthe Ecotec yet.

Hello all,
I plan on buildin a 97 2.4 for boost and im gettin eagle rods and i might get a new crank but i was just wondering will i have to get the oversized bearings and get them machined or will stock b ok with these? n e feed back would b great
