well here it is in the engine bay in all its glory. The 97 body is so happy with a 2005 built ecotec motor. Now all I have to do is work on intercooler pipping

Um, question? I thought that the eco used coil packs and not the old style distributor.

I though coil packs were the most efficent way to go. Much more voltage and direct application. Did you do it for a better timing ability? Or just more parts available for upgrade?

I think what he meant to say is "Schweeeeeeeeeeet"
don't forget the "c". It is all important.

I think the name should not be krazykovo, but divinci, cause that is a work of art.

They set up to run everything rigjt was about $ 5000 can. You have to run a stand alone, disributor, coil and ignition box. They stock coils are good for about 200 whp, witch is way to low for they horsepower I will be pushing. I am hoping for the 450 whp mark to start and push it up from there. I would like to get to 600 by the end of the year. I will be changing intake manifolds and fuel rails, I will also run 8 450cc MSD injectors

Did you do the msd yourself, because i havent heard of anyone that has done it the ecotec yet, i could be wrong

You should "gut" the IDI cover and put the plastic cover back on that might help it look cleaner. Im diggin it. I would suggest motor mounts if you plan on pushin ponies like your talking. Any internal work done?

Im liking the finish on the valve cover and fuel rail. Did you just polish them? Also did you paint the intake manifold or is it just really shiny as well?

Very nice work so far!

msd sells a distibator for the ecotec for full race. As for the motor it don't move. For some reason I do not know why my motor does not move an inch when 2 guys push on it. It is not jammed against or wedged into anything either I already thought that it just don't move
