the 2200 box is just another part of the silencing stock intake, so remove it if you have a place to run the PCV hose to, or use a little filter

Um, According to you, an intake doesnt add HP, so why are you making one?
And the 2200 box, aka cavity 2, Slows the intake velocity to restrict sound. Who cares if it has more volume, its not the Intake manifold.

And an Intake increase both HP and TQ as opposed to the stock system. For best results, plumb it right to the Throttle body, you can use the rubber sleeve that connected cavity two to the TB for your pipe.

the Cavity 2 box is held in buy 1 bolt, 10mm i believe, and the rubber sleeve and screw clamp where it connects to the TB. It takes about 1 min to remove, just get a 90 degree pipe and connect it to what ever you have for an intake already, with a hose coupling and screw clamps.

i also took off the 2200 box on my sunfire and it made the intake much louder. Cant really feel any difference in power though...

I took mine off on my 2200 when i got a Weapon-R Dragon intake, it comes w/ the extra pipe to remove that ugly black box. Very nice feature for all you 2200 owners out there that are looking for better performance I would swear by Weapon-R's intakes! my 2200 was a loud beefy low mod'd car. lol now i have a Z24 tho. gotta start all over.

Ya, DEF run the intake directly from your throttle body, increased airflow equals more HP, cmon people

I have a Weapon R Secret on my 2200 , best intake ive ever had .
Better than the E-bay ones, better than an AEM. * IMO *
Weapon R has a nice deep tone to it while accelerating and its polished tube looks very nice, WORTH the money definitely.

weapon-r and aem, both e= bent piping, however aem is like 100 bucks more. do the math, aem is not worth it really.... 200+ is just too much for me for some bent pipe and a filter!
