Pulley or Bigger throttle body?

What would give me more of a gain in power/ throttle response? I would be getting the rsm pulley or the TB off ebay made by reveco(the tapered one). What would you guys get?

i have both and noticed more of a gain with the throttle body than the pulley. the pulley did make a difference but it wasnt as noticable as the tb.

How do you figure? The TB is like 220 and the pulley is 160.

an Eco pulley shouldn't be that much. Look around and find the best price.

I have a RSM 62mm throttle body it works good and would probably give you the gain you want.

If you plan on going with a supercharger, absolutely do not get the pulley. It reduces the speed of the serp. belt, effectively reducing the boost made by the supercharger. I'd get the TB if I were you.

not sure about the size of rsm pulley...

But i waited it 3 month last summer (ordered mid june and didnt get it by september) so i told them to @!#$ off.

I heard that the machining isnt that good and some peple had trouble with it. Like weird noise, occasional cel. They took it out and put an UR and no more problems so i dont think that they have a good product. It's cheap yes, but you get what you pay for.

If you want a good price on the Throttle Body, do what I did and wait till someone on the org is selling one in the classifieds and you'll get it way cheaper than what RSM/High Rev wants.

I noticed probably a tad more with the Throttle Body than the pulley but both were noticeable.

the pulleyS from CC are 99 for the alt and crank not 160 just for the crank pulley...

higher revs more freed power but with the pulleys get a opt red top also...which you should have anyways...

the only reason ide get the TB is for a boost application...

^^^^^ Once again, you are wrong. It's 129.99 from Customcargrilles and its one for the crank. I don't want the underdrive pulley no matter who makes it because of my stereo and if I got boost later.

the rsm pulley is stock sized so it wont be a problem with a system.

oh and my tb was 135 plus shipping, my crank pulley was 160 plus shipping

Well, either way, I don't have a 2.2l/2200, I have an ecotec. So, it won't fit and I don't want underdriven pulley's, thanks anyway tho. I am gunna just get the tb for now.
