I have a 97 cavy z24 with the 2.4 L engine and i'm install my wai right now and I got a quick question..

Okay my throttle body is loaded up with carbon and some other gunk, i'm just wondering which is the best way to clean the throttle body and what product besides seafoam can I use?

One more question.. After taking the stock air box out theres an open tube right beside the battery when a part of the stock air box was.. What is that open hole and does it need to be covered? Thanks a lot..

Use like a napa or vip brand spray carb and choke cleaner and an old toothbrush and if you've got one a bottle brush for the intake manifold. Run the car for a min after you do it, it's gonna be smokey and run like @!#$ at first, but it's a really go way to regain lost responce and fuel milage...

And no you dont need to cover that hole, but you can remove it by pulling out the inner fenderwell and thats the end of that. Or you can just leave it, it's just a pick up for the stock airbox.
