the best way to get low rpm torque without really sacrificing any top end is to stroke it. i dont know if there are any stroker kits available for any cavi's cause i am a honda guy but, i think that u need more top end power than low end tq. b/c the motor already has way more stroke than bore. THen again, i drive a honda and that is 2 different types of power

this is ALL stupid to begin with. all the things people are telling you are going to KILL your top end, unless its a friction reduction thing, or an increase in actual displacement, which has positive effects over the entire powerband.

why do you want more low end torque, and not top end torque? you are going to spend alot of money to make a car that is still slow. when you race, you rev the motor out. hp is a computation of how much work can be accomplished. thats by having torque put through your gears. the more torque you have at higher rpms, means the more hp you have. the whole purpose of even having a hp calculation is to take into account the rpm that you make good torque at.

if you had all low end, you would keep having to shift sooner, thus losing your mechanical advantage of gearing. you NEED to work on improving your mid and high rpm torque, which would give you the most hp. thats why everyone in the world interested in going gast doesnt just focus on low end torque.
