LSJ header

I have recently install a LSJ pacesetter header onto my 2005 Pontiac Sunfire. When pricing out having a shop make a down pipe for me i was told that between the header and the down pipe I would not need a gasket, is this true?

I have now installed the header however i have a ticking noise while under load and believe it my be a exhaust leak?

Do i need an gasket as such for the down pipe? Can someone post a link to the correct one for the pacesetter LSJ header if needed

Thank you.

A "ticking" noise due to an exhaust leak is usually at the head/header point, not the downpipe. I would be checking that first.

I have the same one. You should not need a gasket for the ball adapter but I hope you installed a new factory exhaust gasket and not the paper one they supplied.

But ticking may need to be retourqed at the header.
