I have a 2000 Cavalier 2.2 5 speed that is being turned into a dirt track car. I am trying to hook up a aftermarket tach, problem is the car did not come with a factory tach and I have no idea where to tap into the wiring to hook it up. Has to be a way I am sure. Anyone ever done this before?
You need a tach adapter. It hooks up to 2 wires for the coil packs and converts it to a usable tach wire hook up, it is simple with the adapter.
