2001 2200 Reman head milled .040", do I need shorter pushrods

Hi guys/ladies,

New to the forum, I did a search but can't find the exact answer I need. My 2001 sunfire, with 175000 miles, decided it wanted a new head for Christmas, I purchased a reman from CHI, overall looks very nice, however in their reman process they shaved .040" from the head. I am in the process of putting it all back together today, my cylinder 2 intake lifter is trashed, the retaining spring was bent, and the lifter is plugged, as well as the pushrod, plugged not bent. I am going to purchase a new lifter for that one and any others that may be bad, I am also thinking of just replacing all of the pushrods.

TLDR;

My question is, with the head being milled, .040, will I need to find shorter pushrods, once I get a chance I will put the head on, and install cylinder 1's valve train and check rocker an sweep. Just wanted to see if anyone here already knows the answer.

Thanks for your time.

Josh
