ecotec weaponR intake vs. 97 z24 engine

ok my buddy totaled his 2003 cavi. so he gave me some parts off of it. will his intake fit my car?

his intake is piece of @!#$... it doesn't actually "fit" on any car... which is why if you don't have motor mounts it will smash a big dent out of your hood and all the while being effective as pooping down the throtle body.... get one for your car that one sucks balls

I have rksport motor mounts. and I currently have an Iceman Intake. this was free so I figured what the hell, I give it a try. but now, maybe not

if you have one stick with it... anythign is better then weapon-r... the only company that makes worse quality is Playschool and Fischer Price, and thats only cause they made tihngs out of plastic

thanks guys. i got me an e-bay or yardsale item. I also got c/f gas door, and some c/f m3 mirrors.which, if i decide to keep them, will be sanded and painted 'cause i hate the fake c/f look

Mine hit the hood also, I cut the coupler a little bit and made it fit. I will never buy another weapon r product again, its cheap for a reason.

It won't...I believe hood clearance becomes an issue and I don't think that they are exactly in the same position as far as the throttle body goes.
