would switching out the just the2.3 intake manifold to a 2.4 give it any power gains ? does it gain anything at all?

Am I reading this right. Are you saying you have a 2.3 in there and you want to put on a 2.4 intake...you must mean you have a 2.4 and want to put on the 2.3 intake manifold, right? From what I know the 2.3 manifold may give you a hp or two but the 56mm throttle body is what will give you the added power. How much, again is debatable...hard to say without a dyno. A fair guess would be 5 or so...but then again it depends on your other mods.

^^Yes you have it right. He has a 97 Z24.. yes a 2.3 HO manifold would give you a increase.. I believe the 2.3 LO manifold gave a bit too but lose in torque.. Use the Search.. you find tons of stuff on this and i beleive some links of How to do this..

I just put a 2.3HO mani on my 01Z and I love it, and with it powdercoated gunmetal grey it looks sweet too!
