wiring harness question
Monday, June 17, 2013 11:33 AM
Alright guys, I need some help. I've heard yes and no several times over, but can i use a wiring harness from a 93 2.2 with the block in a 95 2.2? Only reason i was considering this was because of the rev limiter. Is this possible? If not, why?

Yes, it's possible. The wiring harness has no idea what engine it's hooked to. You just need to swap the ENTIRE harness, since 93 is OBD1, 95 is OBD2. If you only plan on racing the car, you're good to go.

Thanks. That's what i needed. It's strictly for racing. Dirt track car. Just wanted to make sure the sensors would match up. right now i have a gutted car, a bare block, a wiring harness, and a bunch of parts to throw together, just making sure it will match up before I jump into it.
