Good news, my Cobalt is being built on the 2nd of may, and I should recieve the car no later than on the 9th or 10th of may, so It will be at the BBQ.

My dad had recieved the GTO way later than expected,and he is required by GM to buy a car every two years. He ordered the GTO on what they call a "drive and buy" program which obligates him to drive the car for 90 days before purchasing. Since the car was delayed so bad in recieving it, after those 90 days he would have been past his deadline. So he got my mother a new sport utility instead as his purchase. (equinox)
I did get to drive the goat a few times, and despite the looks (maybe im the only one that likes the clean sleeper look) the car handled and drove so well given it's weight and 4 seats. And the build quality seemed better than my cousin cindy's 2000 BMW M5.
Although honestly, I've been driving my 85 Vette around during the last month before I just sold it, and when I test drove the Cobalt SS I still had more fun although less power. Again that is personal preference, but I have such a strong passion for the sport compact market that despite performance I can see myself driving anything else.
And to me the SS is an improvement in the LONGRUN over my cavalier. I just need to change alot of stuff as usual
GARSNOW- If you read this, at the BBQ, we need to take off my SS wing and put in on your redline. (your car is silver, wing is black won't look too bad!) You said you wanted it anyway, that thing needs to go off the SS!!
