x2 right here, GP please!
if this pans out, I'll buy two sets of them.
OK guys, I made the tweaks to them, and I should have another bracket over the weekend. I'll get the whole thing mounted up on my axle and check out everything until I'm satisfied, then I'm sending Brian's parts back and a set of brackets. I will wait until I get feedback from him before i consider doing any kind of GP.

Thanks for doing the talking Shawn. Ive been busy as hell the last couple days. Working two jobs etc. So I havent had time to check back. Im glad theres interest in these. This originally started out as me getting shot down on the Neon swap I had planned. I got Intrepid brackets. No one will machine them for me so I started doing some digging on rotors to replace the Saturn ones. The SRT-4 seemed like a good fit since I had been pining after them for awhile.
But this reminds me. I need to get some slotted rotors on order.
Thanks for the love everyone. Ill get them tested as soon as I get them from Shawn and a GP will be up as soon as Im comfortable.

LOL. Dude, you don't even need to subscribe to this. You get the updates when Brain gets 'em.

that's why I didn't subscribe haha
Hmm....may have to sell my other brackets for these. Are they going to be powdercoated?
Shawn was talking anodized aluminum. I was going to go teal powdercoat like the Project Mu color (not trying to fake. Just like the color). Theres a bunch of places that powdercoat locally if they pass through my hands before sale but I assume Shawn has access to powdercoat also. There of course would be slightly more cost. But, I cant say how much.
We are still in the testing phases. A new revision is on track but Im not making any promises to anyone as of now. Haha.
I'm kind of going to play devil's advocate, but only because they're valid points.
1. The rotor and hub are not running parallel?
2. The caliper is not biting the whole rotor?
3. Will this design let the rotor sit on hub?
I read there will be revisions, but will it touch some of the points I'm seeing?
BTW... good idea and nice to have options.

That's really just the result of a bad picture, but here's the deal:
1. The rotor and hub are not running parallel?
The rotor is parallel with the hub. In the picture, the adapter is just barely at an angle from the hub mount, because they're not bolted together. The rotor is firmly bolted flush against the hub. The angle of the shot is why you are just seeing the tip of the far stud.
2. The caliper is not biting the whole rotor?
The entire pad surface contacts the rotor. In that picture, the dark area you circled inside the caliper is just that...dark, not a huge gap as it looks.
3. Will this design let the rotor sit on hub?
The rotor sits right on the hub. No spacers necessary.
This picture was a quick cell phone shot that I sent to Brian to show him progress. Since he started this thread, I figured I'd post it up here so people had an idea of how it was going to look. The revised brackets will be in my hand tonight, and I'll be mounting them on the axle either tonight or tomorrow (depending on what time I get in tonight).
The only reason I couldn't bolt the adapter and hub together was an error when I was re-orienting the part profile for the CAM setup so that it used the smallest piece of stock. When I locked my coordinate relations, I locked two of them to the wrong points, so the holes ended up moving out of whack for the hub. Once I found the error, it was an easy correction.
Ok, so I didn't have time to pick up the longer bolts on the way home, but I was able to at least bolt it up and snap these quick shots. I'll get the hardware tomorrow after work and get it bolted to the axle. Once I'm totally satisfied, I will be sending Brian his brackets and awaiting his input after installing.
Stay tuned!

I'm shooting for around $125-130 shipped with hardware, but I'll know for sure once I figure everything out. The piece you see there is just my testing unit. I'm mounting it up to the axle tonight and then giving the guy the go-ahead to cut a final set for Brian, which I should be able to ship out to him in a few days. I will have a firm price on these as soon as I have his final brackets.
We might as well go ahead and start the list, so feel free to add your name (and quantity if more than 1 set). You all know the drill by now.

As promised, here it is mounted on the axle. Brian's brackets are cut. I'm just waiting on the e-brake holder, and I'll be sending his stuff out this weekend.
Stay tuned for firm pricing, parts list, and Brian's reviews!
