cant find rear bump stops
Saturday, February 06, 2016 8:27 PM
i guess rear bump stops for the 03 cavalier/sunfire are non-exisent, according to every car parts shop in my area. even my GM dealer told me i'm up @!#$ creek. well does anybody know where i can find, or make a rear bump stop for my car? i did a search of the forum and found nothing as far as information on them.

reason for needing them is i'm running offset wheels and new struts with eibach pro kit and car bottoms out on the outer fenders. ruining my paint, and fenderwells. new struts never came with bump stops

If u know the diameter of the strut shaft u can order from just about every company that sells shocks. Kyb or dorman would be a good place to start

Go to the junkyard and pull them off a car. I find it hard to believe your rubbing with a pro kit.

i've been to junkyard and they're all too rotten to be re-used. i'm looking for new. its upsetting to be unable to find parts. and oh yes, they do rub a fair bit FYI.

Must not be a pro kit, and the sportlines.

They say for a cavalier. I have no idea if the fit.

i assure you its a pro kit. i bought the kit brand new and installed myself. i did not want the sportlines for fear of rubbing
