Do your lights dim when the heater fan is on?

I'm wondering about this. I've noticed that my lights will dim when I turn the heater fan to the highest setting. I was wondering if this was common in our cars?

Yeah usually only if im in park or idleing. Its no big problem. Sometimes my radio will cut out for a second. If you rev the engine while sitting there you see them get brighter

Sometimes When I Just Start My Car In The Mornings And I Turn On My Rear Defrost
It Seems To Pull Allot Out Of The Battery And The Idle Drops and Raises On And Below 1000RPM

anything you do that uses power while idling will make your lights dim/revs drop for a second.... it happens to me when i turn on the rear defrost, step on the brakes (power assist) or try to turn the wheels.
