No sir it doesn't run on gas at all. I just put the bcm from the car I got the pcm from and nothing. Right now I am doing the passlock again and if this doesn't work I am going to go get the lock cylinder next.

Also should I hold the clutch in when I turn the key to crank on the 3rd cycle when it is learning the passcode?

Well, now when you turn on the key the theft light goes off but if you leave the key on it comes on and stays on. Still nothing. Does anyone want to buy a 99 z24 5 speed 55k on body about 1500 miles on the motor and 60k on the tranny? It runs on starting fluid.

OHHHHHHH YEAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SHE RUNS!!!!!!!!!. So I took off all the grounds cleaned the @!#$ out of all of them. Grounded all of them on the starter without the tab for the wire loom. Their is another ground that goes on a stud for the tranny I moved that ground to the bracket with the ground on the head. Lastly I disconnected the battery for 24 hours after I did the last Passlock relearn. So the car ran like @!#$ and was very slow to rev up but it has no intake and an open downpipe the lower 02 is unplugged. I didn't let it run very long it was about 10:00pm when she fired and I didn't want to piss the neighbors off any more than I already have. I will now work as hard to finish it up as I did to get it this far. I didn't want to work on the rest of the car when I couldn't get it running!!! BEER THIRTY!!

I used the plastic tank and fuel pump from the junkyard car. No evap. Only 1 fuel line had to be Changed SilverJon19's or what ever the hell Ben's name is did it for me. Right now I have a mucked up left rear brake line and maybe the same port on the master cylinder and I would be driving this car down the road. I almost have the headlight harness wired in. I ALSO need a dash and if you click this link you can see it run. CLICK ME TO SEE DAN'S CAR RUN

right on, how'd you go about lining up the new mounts? did you weld them in yourself? I want to swap my auto to a manual, but I don't know anyone who welds.

good job

We bolted the motor and tranny in together and mounted both the upper and lower mount. We bolted the tranny mounts on the tranny and then put the weld in mounts on the front one can be welded with the motor and tranny in the car the back side of the back one can not be reached with the engine and tranny in the car. My buddy Jason is a good welder he came over and hooked it up.

Well I drove her down the road today. I need to get a header so I can start on the exhaust but I drove it. Header and the main dash and she is done. Here she is as I drove her first time in 7 years.

I am in the middle of wiring the 99 headlight harness to the 00 plug. Not fun!

for the 99 headlights, use an 03+ sunfire harness and change the ends for the bulbs

basically plug and play, thats what i did

I have been looking for the 03 and up harness but no yard has a good one that's not a $100 I bought the tranny for $250. But all I have to do is finish the exhaust mount the rear bumper and finish the leadlights. AND SHE IS DONE. Oh yeah I need the main dash to mine is cracked. But hey good progress I think. I have worked on a couple turbo cav's in the last week way more fun than this pos.

I cut the 99 harness past the plug. Then I cut a 03 headlight harness plug and spliced it together.
