The J-body mount is the one that gets trimmed. Which I don't even think is a problem if you get the mount from QLC.

I didnt trim the mount at all when I did mine. I took apart a spare j body mount I had and pulled the metal out of the middle. Cut it down to 3/4" tall and used it as a spacer under the T bracket with longer bolts. Best part is you can still use a prothane upper insert in the mount.

It is the N body mount that gets trimmed. Lemme see if I can find some pics of when I did it.

You need to trim 3/4 of an inch off it.

Before

After

I think using the stock GAGT mount works best as seen here with mine:

No, that's the 3400 mount.

However, I don't know why the stock GAGT mount would work better than one that bolts to that motor, and the stock bracket, with no cutting, drilling, or welding.

Definately upgrade to the WOT-Tech mount, much worth it.

I busted 2 of the 3400 upper mounts. Here is a pic of the last one I took out:

Well worth the money IMO. Feels great, especially after having a broken mount.

I think that the extra mount I made on my swap really helped engine twist alot.
