hooking up a tach

ok this should be easy i had a 96 cavi 2.4 ran my green wire to the fuse/relay box under the hood where it says tach(lol no brainer) now i have hooked up many tacks green wire to coil easy
now i no on a distributorless ingition system you need a pickup but as you all no there are no plug wires to put it on i have tryed to find a signal on the plug that goes on the
spark distributor on top of the head.
any ideals?

Why dont you just run the cluster WITH a tach? you should have one..its a direct plug n play. Unless you wan the big flashy light Then i couldnt tell ya sorry!

tap into the icm signal wire it should give you the rpms i know on the 2.2 it has 2 different wires for the coils so you need an adapter kit or solder diodes
