Is anyone using a 50 shot supercharged reliably?

I currently have a 35 shot hooked up at a this time. You deffinetly can feel the difference . This is a daily driver that has 104,000 miles that runs strong. I have nothing done to the internals.

I don't know if i would run wet kit on a s/c unless its direct port.

Indeed, i hope that is a direct port kit, and if it is not then i really hope it is not a wet kit. The fuel will eat the coating they put on the supercharger rotors and seriously f**k them up. Just a heads up.

Look up a member here by the name of Ragin Z

Is it hard to convert a wet to a dry kit? Is it as easy as disconnecting the fuel side of the system. I tried to lookat Ragin Z post but couldn't find anything. I've been using the meth for over a year and 1/2, will that also chew up the coating on the rotors ?

Thanks for the feed back.

Well, there is a thread in this forum somewhere which shows Scott's(Ragin Z) and his DP setup on the S/C
To convert to a dry kit I would just delete the fuel solenoid and possibly change nozzles. The alky/meth is the best to my knowledge for reducing detonation and reducing temps on the S/C

BTW I am selling my nitrous kit

Okay! I did some research on our M45.

I talked to tech support at stiegemeier, they rebuild Eaton superchargers. http://www.stiegemeier.com/

They had informed me, The only damage done from teflon flaking is only if your inter-cooled. The teflon flaking can lodge in the inter-cooler because of its multiple smaller air channels within. Cat converter is very unlikely to be damaged.

Teflon coatings only purpose is to muffle the sound of the rotors. Teflon flaking is very common after long use.
It is also recommended to use a wet kit other than dry, quoted from stiegemeier.

I love my set up, i'm just wondering if I should go from 35 to 50 shot ?

You have a stock bottom end,I don't see the motor lasting very long if your planning on spraying all the time.

I know, it's my only concern. I think my bottom end will be next. Hello Wesco pistons.
