healthy engine?
Saturday, November 01, 2008 2:18 PM
I already posted this in the maintenace forum, but I will try my luck here. I did a compression test today, and my results were as follows: 105 psi on first stroke building 30 psi on each additional stroke until I reached 205 psi on my 4th stroke. Is My compression good enough to run a 50 wet shot? I dont know what that calculates into compression ratio, but from what I can gather in my haynes maual, it seems to be fine. I just want to be sure and get everyone's suggestions on here. Thanks!

Does anyone have any info for me? It seems as if i dont have any leaks from following my haynes manual. I just want to know if I still have the stock 9.7:1 compression ratio that it had when it came from the factory. I want to add nitrous, and I do have a tired engine. I just want to be sure. Does anyone know what my ratio is?
