Are the switches different between 99.5 and 00+?

I have a 99.5 cav without the bcm and am doing a complete 00+ harness swap bumper to bumper.

I need to know if the switch is different due to the security on the cars.

I did a quick search online and the electronic part seems to be the same part number.

I know there have been others that have done this swap but couldn't find an answer.
