Stock Head Unit and Audio Books

Anybody have problems listening to audiobooks on the stock CD player? I have a 04 sunfire. Every book i listen too, it cuts off the end of each track (varies in length of cut off). It also occasionally will jump and repeat a word. I took it to the dealer to have them yank it and replace it, they claimed that the head unit was fine and tried my cd on a head unit in a GMC, same think in that. There theory was that the CD was warped...funny, every cd in all the audio books must be warped then. I had them replace it anyways, but it still does the same thing in the new one. Anybody else seem to have this problem? I cant wait until I can get the money to by an aftermarket head unit.

Thanks,
Jack

Its done this with every cd on every audio book I've ever listened too, like 10 diff books, 10-15 CDs each average.
