Expert advice needed....memphis Subs and amp?
Wednesday, March 30, 2005 9:12 PM
I am looking into upgrading my subs and my amp, I have 3 12" mclass memphis subs and an 1100D mclass Amp, I am currently playing at one ohm. I just bought some sound deadner so Im thinking about upgrading everything, I was massive bass with quality, I love my memphis and am def. going to stay with memphis...I am leaning toward either the M3 or Mojo class.

The amp is a mojo 16-mc2000d

13.8 Volt Rating: 2000 X 1 @ 2ohms Class D Subwoofer Amplifier
15.5 Volt Rating: 2400 X 1 @ 2ohms Class D Subwoofer Amplifier

The m3 sub 15-mc124d

RMS/Peak (W) 400/800
Sensitivity (dB) 95.8
Magnet SIze (oz) 85
Mounting Depth (in) 6.1

The Mojo sub 15-M3MOJO12

RMS/Peak (W) 500/1000
Sensitivity (dB) 94.9
Magnet Size (Oz) 228
Mounting Depth (in) 7.25

Mojo sub 15-lvs15

RMS/Peak (W) 800/1200
Sensitivity (dB) 91.6
Magnet Size (Oz) 225
Mounting Depth (in) 11.75

15-lvs15 box dimentions

45" long
14" deep
16 3/4" wide

Well my frineds I have a couple questions......
1. How many mojo amps would I have to buy to power any of these (2 m3, 1 mojo)
2. How many extra batterys will I need to power that amp?
3. will the either of the mojo subs be able to fit in the trunk of a cavalier or will I need to remove the rear seat?

Confused go to www.memphiscaraudio.com

Sorry for the long post
hope someone can help me out
thanks

1 mojo would power either fine as long as u get the right ohm on the subs

wait and install the amp then test it to see if a battery is needed.

yes they could fit in the trunk with the right built box.
