subsonic knob?
Thursday, March 31, 2005 8:56 AM
I have an MA audio high current amp, and it has a subsonic control knob ranging from 10-20hertz. Does anyone know the range to keep this at? i know if this is set wrong it can burn your subs up. Help!

doesn't matter most songs dont go that low anyways.

it'd only be usefull in a ported enclosure

a know a subsonic filter makes all that go away. when i was running my sub in my old car i had a fundamental. it amplified all of the stuff under 20hz. it was an instant bass machine. shook the WHOLE car.

so is it a filter or a boost?? if it's a filter, you have no use for it. if it's a boost, it does nothing but boost at a frequency that's only seen in test tones.
