new sound system help.

k, so im going fom 12's to 10's

my friend has 10's in his car in a sealed box,
and i lover how they sound...my 12's were in a sealed box as well.

and i loved the way they sounded, but when putting one back in after i needed to
tighten my wires, i accidently, caz i was talking on the phone and looking at connections backwards
put the positive on the negative, and vise versa.....and one blew.

so i will be selling the untouched one that works good along with an amazing amp on it, in a sealed tuned for that sub, box and all.
but thats in a diff section..........this system with just the one 300w sub [not even haveing the 2 subs working!] with a 300i true wattage mono Di amp got me goin to court 2 times already, suprisingly loud!

my question is, can u guys help me with tuning??
i know nothing bout it, and want a custom built box again, without the
price of someone making one for me!

....i know a friend that owns a woodshop, and he will do it for free,
if i can get exact demensions for the subs to be at there best in a sealed box!!!

umm, the subs i have are Planet Audio RX2104 subwoofers and i would like a sealed box

if u need to know anything else, plz let me know!

Sealed boxes are ungodly forgiving. Go on their site, they'll probably tell you from .5 to 1 cubic foot sealed. Make one in between that. It'll be so custom it'll fix your spelling and then I could understand what you're saying.

And you won't blow a sub by just switching polarities.

No you will not. They just push in instead of out.

well, whut about the Mhz or whutever???
how do u tune for that? or figure out whuts best!
and sorry bout how i type.....im just so used to it,
i dont even think about it! ..im always texting/on aim, so....yeah

my box for my 12's was huge! it was 1 cubic foot each!
i heard my box for these will be small.

i want the box to be tuned to feel and hear the bass,
i know some like that weird bass that u just fell, but cant hear.
and some like to hear it, but not feel the vibrations.

i want that like perfect balance of both, were it sounds hella good,
and u can feel it vibrating yur car and some stuff around u!!!!

i did not know that, thank u! so whut would have caused it to blow if putting neg to pos and pos to neg didnt blow it up!
...............i did buy them used, as it was my first souns system, but i got a hella good deal. two subs for the price of one new one...even if they were used, and my just one that i have now sounds hella good! but wanted a new system!

You don't tune sealed boxes. Ported boxes you do. 1 cubic foot each is what a 12 should be at.

If you wanna feel it, I suggest up the power, go ported, or both.
