Recommend an Amp

I have 3 JL Audio 12w6s, My top choice for an amp is the JL 500/1, I'm thinking the 1000/1 may be too much for em, and besides it's expensive as hell. So, any other recommendations? The subs are 300w RMS each in case anyone didn't know, and they can be wired for 1ohm or 4ohm operation.....

ummm I don't think that 500/1 would be enough for 3 12w6s... you are probably going to want that 1000/1 if you want a jl amp to go with them

Well man a somewhat inexpensive amp that could hit those JL's is MA Audio, if you have a little more money to throw around then you could go with MTX, I had a nice MTX mono amp that actually destroyed two Infinity subs. They are relatively cheap and can put out some hard bass.

" There is a such thing as too much money for car audio"
2 MA Audio 120XE 12" Subs $100
1 Soundstorm 800 Watt 2 Channel Amp- $135
3/4" MDF Dual 12 Box- $40
JVC KDG-400 CDRW/MP3 Player- $125

Hitting 134 Decibals and being recommended for hearing conservation- Priceless!!!

i have a hifonix amp and i love it
its been through i huge car wreck and was thrown around during that and still works great 3 years later
so in short i recomend a hifonix 1000 D class amp i think they run around 350 to 400bucks if that is out of your price range you could go with crunch (made by the same company as hifonix) they are cheeper
