Fuel pressure is 55 psi static, 52 psi idle and goes up to around 60 psi with a little throttle

Sounds to me like the pump is fine then. Back to the drawing board :/

Couldnt it still be the pump not being able to keep up at higher rpms? I was thinking this just shows the fpr is working properly

The pump could possibly have a volume issue.

The only way to be testing that, that I can think of is to run a fuel gauge and run the car so you can see it and see what the fuel pressure is at wot. If its 62 psi then the fuel pump is just fine.

Ya, you can log the reflash without any problems. Perhaps this weekend we can hook it up and see what the problem can be. I just need to get my netbook & hptuners from Jeff which shouldn't be a problem. I'll ask Jeff what hes up to this weekend. I'll send you a PM a little later.

Drove the car yesterday. I didn't drive it hard though so I'll have to give it another run, but, I was either at 10.1-10.5 or 14.4-15.0. Nothing in between. When the weather clears up, I'll drive it around and add some variability to the way I drive to see if I hit any lean conditions like what you've observed.

UPDATE: after the racetronix install everything is back to normal. Pulls much harder and afrs 10-10.5. I guess the stocker was quickly dying since it was quickly getting worse but no worries now. Also i dont seem to have a hard time starting it without priming which is nice.

Good idea...I'm sure the stock pump isnt fond of the extra power, plus with the walbro in there you dont need to worry if you want to drop pulleys one day. Just make sure you have the right clamps before you start. Racetronix didnt send me a small one and the bigger clamp for rhe main fuel line was too big for the line. I had to get a smaller one for the main line and one for the venturi line.

Also, get these http://www.menards.com/main/plumbing/plumbing-tools/hand-tools/pliers/pinch-clamp-tool/p-1958947-c-8612.htm ... Can get them at homedepot too, only $10 and makes it super, super easy to get them clamped tight.
