How much pressure is acceptable with stock timing? I'm currently at 9 psi and when in full boost I see about 15 degrees of timing advance.

15 degree's is not stock Ecotec timing, but usually acceptable in boost timing.

I was just going off what it was when I'm in boost, is it normally higher than that? Do you think it's switching to the low octane tables?

Wouldn't know without looking at datalogs, and the tune etc..

My guess would be that the ECU is using the multiplier for IAT temps and changing the spark.
