Turbo drain issues
Sunday, September 08, 2019 5:54 AM
Ok so heres the thing. My dad works at a kia dealership and he managed to get me a turbo off of an optima for free. Yay the only problem is fitment. I welded a flange that directly connects to my manifold. The issue is the only orientation it fits is not ideal. In the attached picture (I know its not very good I will het a better one when I am home) you can see the orientation and the oil feed is circled. This causes the drain to be at very high angle. If I put a scavange pump on the drain line should this be an issue?

Some photos of the turbo and location. if I estimate right it is at around a 45 -50 degree angle
