I was really unsatisfied with how my engine bay was lookin so I have been attempting to clean things up.

I have started by using a HO Manifold and am going to reroute my charge pipes underneath the motor ala Brandon Fetter style.

I am relocationg the battery to the trunk.

But now heres my problem, when I blew the first 2 turboes because they were junk, I had to take out and mess around back by the firewall.

With that came many scratches and just plain doesnt look good, being as its bare from removing the cruise and a/c.

Now, heres the thing, I noticed that the new malibus and saturns have like the carpeting that comes underneath the hood on the firewall also, but I am not sure if my turbo stuff would just burn it up.

So I am looking for some ideas on what I could do to cover up the firewall or make it look better, something, because I am stumped!

Polish a piece of metal and stick it back there.

jake......wow.

I wish I could find out what temps the under hood lining could withstand, cause I think that would be good...but dont wanna risk setting it ablaze....

You could use something like this.

Just cut a shape out and glue it on. It would look better, like they mentioned, a piece of polished metal but I would be hesitant to drill into something that you don't know what is back there.
