Well, finally fed up with the traction issues, and I was wondering how much farther out a 335/90R16 tire would jut from under where my fenders used to be. I realize turning would be an issue, so instead of rollin them, I basically eleiminated them all together. Also, how much grinding and cutting would be needed on the rear wells if any. Any info would be swell. Thanks.

dude, 335 is the width of a rear tire on a lamborghini murcialego.
90 would make your side wal about 12 inches high

well the thing is i want to stay about stock height, just tuck the rubber under the fenders. Basically I can just takr the front fenders off , cut them up and put them back on AROUND the wheel. That back though I obviously need to cut up while still on the car and really do not want to mess it up.

oh and with a set of GOOD tires in the proper size for your car you will have no traction issues...
it has nothing to do with the power, why does everything have to be about horsepower? I live in a very hilly and mountainous region, with frequent unanounced over night frosts leading to lots of icey road. Nothing at all to do with power, nice job on attempting to deduce why I need better traction.

you shoudl be lookin for like a 215 series in a nice all season tire. honestly try the toyo proxe4s. awesome tires and they actually got pretty good snow traction for me in the winter. on dry pavement and rain and wet i havent found anything that is as good as this tire for everything.

Gah, .. I hit the post button... Anyhow... I am willing to cut out the fender and such, put on spacers, do whatever it takes. I just need better traction with the wide deep tread tire. I forgot to mention that besides the spontaneous overnight frosts, I go up "off roading" alot to reach the cabin. Its not bad terrain, just really muddy sometimes.
ok you need to realize that that tire is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. what you need is better tires, not a bigger size. your tires probably blow donkey dick. get a good set of all season tires. also a cav is not the best thing to go off roading in. maybe thats your problem. get a truck, then you can slap your huge ass tires on
I said "off roading" b/c its not really off roading, just going down dirt roads that get really muddy.
do this, you wont even have to cut the fenders either.
