Torque setting

I just got a set of 17x7 konig unknowns for my '02 sunfire and was wondering if the lug nut torque setting would be any different. Help me out.

Never went that specific with my lugs on my rims. Put them on good and snug and then check them every so often to make sure things are staying together...aluminum is funny that way.

Call a wheel/tire shop.. or maybe even Konig themselves. One of them should be able to tell you.

I wouldn't trust just "tightening them down" as suggested, since not making sure ALL the lug nuts are torqued to the same specs can cause early wear on your tires and brakes.

Here is what they look like on Import...not the greatest pic but you get the idea.

No different. I usually torque to about 90-100 ft/lbs.

95-100 lb ft

depending on wether you have tuner lugs or not

should you go less ft/lbs if you have tuner lugs?

keep them around 100 ft/lbs, its more important to keep them all the same on the rim, that way your not compressing one part of the rotor more then another and causing it to warp once it warms up. Don't just go by feel, get a torque wrench
