Removing Factory Rim Paint
Monday, March 29, 2010 8:47 AM
Hey,
this has probably been covered already but I am looking at buying some rims from a guy (ADR Interspeed Blue) and they are a blue rim with an alloy face. I would like to remove the blue and leave it all alloy. Is this possible to do at home? I am extremely interested in these rims but the color just doesn't mesh well with the color of my car. Please let me know if it's possible and exactly how to go about doing so.
Thanks in Advance.

Everything I've read has said to get some aircraft stripper which can be found with paint at a store and let it sit for a while and a little sanding.

Word and more word. Use in a WELL ventilated area the garage is not preferred. Back yard, front yard and side yard preferred. Let it sit for about 20 minutes, then scrub away.
