I like the McGuards.
They're a two piece and much lighter than the ones Transporter is using which is 2 ounces each. That's alot of extra weight to add to your rims.
Here's a pic of the McGuards which you can get on Ebay for a good price. They've been very heavy duty for me as they haven't chipped, rusted, or given me any issues with as many times as I've had them on and off of the car.
They're only colored on the tops which I like because that area never sees the tire wrench and always stays colored with no scratches.

Good luck on your selection.

anyone know the answer to this?

I'm sure they are different brand to brand. But I thought Tuner lugs were the slimmest lugs you could get?

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

Not all "tuner" lugs are the same. I tried to use my Mutekis on a set of 17x9 wheels off Airtonic's wife's Evo. They would not fit into the holes. Dont quote me but i believe single drilled wheels always have a larger hole for lugnuts to seat. Which is what all my wheels are. Her Drag brand wheels did not accept my Mutekis since they were dual drilled.. Very sad day...

The dual drilled are a PITA my lugs are like Misnblus. I need an adapter to get them on and off. Im starting to dislike them.

I know its not a J-Body, but I run colored lugs on my TL-S, I think if done right, its a nice touch. These are Rays extended lugs in blue

was going to make a new thread but i figured id post here, what would say blue tuner lugs look like on a black steel wheel? thinking of doing it until i get rims, been rocking the steelies for a while with chrome nuts but i figured blue would look different.
