"Tuner" lug nuts, where?
Wednesday, October 01, 2008 5:13 PM
Hey, I'm in Penticton BC, Canada, just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a site with a good quality set of lug nuts and key for a decent price. Year or two ago my girlfriend got some wheels for her '02 sunfire and the nuts that came with it were a seemingly soft steel. Both the nuts and the key were stripping after almost just one use. So yeah, any suggestions on a website, or maybe just a recommended brand that I could look around for?
Thanks

I'm not sure of where to get them, but I can personally recommend mcguard or gorilla tuner lugs. No extra locks to buy and extremely durable.

If you want high quality I'd go with McGuard.

agreed. i got my mcgard spline drive off ebay and they are probably the best lugs i have ever used. i will never used an open end lug ever again. if you want real good lugs that you wont have any problems with, get mcgard. a little pricey though at about 80 bucks for the set but i believe its worth every penny.

I love my Gorilla lugs and Summit always has fast shipping. Just make sure you steer clear of open ended lugs as mentioned above.

As a Canadian without a lot of local sources, I bought my McGard lugs from The Lug Shack through eBay. They run something like $80 plus $13 for shipping from California into Canada. I recommend them.
