225/50's will work but rub a little. 60's are way too big and will rub on the side skirt for sure and hit the strut base. Im getting 225/45's very soon anyway. But no they wont work.

225/60/17?

really odd tire size, sidewall is definitely way too big. Are they truck tires? I'd sell the ones you got and get 225/40/17s, no rubbing whatsoever
