My assumed cost would be $75...that's what I'm giving a local to do one up for me.

When I me mine I just used pvc for the gauge cup and fiberglassed it on. Took a few days to make, and only cost about $10-15 including the dash piece.

how exactly did you only spend $15? You're obviously not factoring in multiple items needed to do it correctly. Hell, the PVC fittings needed to start are $5 alone. Then factor in the following:

Resin/hardener
Mat
Filler
icing
sand paper (80 grit, 120, 220, 500)
CA glue

On top of all this, factor in time spent.

But hey, if you can offer them to people for $15, have fun with that.

I had the glass, hardener, resin, and sand paper. I paid $14 for the column piece and $1 for pvc. I never said I'd make these for anyone because I won't. I was just saying you can do it yourself cheap.

I meant mat not resin. If I had to buy everything I used I probably would have spent around $35, and about 5 hours of time

Hey guys, I made the pod for thevillagemon's car, he pointed me over here!

Here's the one I made without the final paint to match

Can hit it with a texture coat and a real dark grey to get pretty close to factory texture/color

I'm in central wisconsin.. I'd be willin to make a handful of these.. would just need the factory column piece and the gauge you want installed.

PM me!
